It definitely gets better! This is mentioned frequently. It is such a surprising book, but you absolutely must read close to the end to understand the arc. So please keep reading.

Not a good book to listen to on Audible. I think I may have missed the plot.

I thought it was terrific. It is about healing from trauma. And Eleanor is a quirkly delight – but maybe not for everyone.

I just read this on Friday. I was hooked from page one, but it isn’t a happy book. Hard to describe. I laughed sometimes, but it was a sad story in a way. I enjoyed being in her head though.

This is such a different and wonderful book. Eleanor is someone that others look down upon because of her quirkiness… but she amazes with her efforts, despite the cards that she has been dealt. I loved seeing her succeed at her job, and in her friendships. There is a lesson there for us all… to be kind and less judgmental… as we never know what someone is dealing with.

It does get better. I listened too the audiobook, and I honestly thought I was going to abandon it. I kept listening, and then I was hooked. It’s one of those books I want to go back and read/listen to again with fresh eyes/ears. So much was explained at the end… it was all tied together and I felt I “got” her so much more. I do believe it might have to be revisted soon.

it was one of those books I liked better in retrospect then at the time I was reading it. My granddaughter had recommended it. sometimes that’s the way it works for me with a book I’m not too sure about.. it’s after I’ve finished that I come to appreciate it.. I know I’m weird. Ha ha
