Fun, light and Girly? Lol no offence , cuz i swear that is My Favorite book and i m in love with all CoHo’s novels, but the amazing romance aside, i wouldn’t say its Light and Fun at all. More like, Heartbreaking , gut wrenching?

Let’s just say I consider her books my light reads, despite the heartbreaks. When am reading heavy books, I have read hers and Jojo Moyes to neutralize the weight a little bit. But then again, I have a thing for heart breaking stories

Ok, no this i need to see. If CoHo is a light read, i d really appreciate it if you could recommend something heavier please? Cuz i always considered IEWU one of the most emotional books i ve ever read.

Joss

IEWU is my favorite CoHo book BTW. So am a polygamist reader who reads upto 6 books at a go, mostly different genres. Maybe a classical, historical fiction, self help, memoir, and another fiction. Some books take a toll on my brain, hence my need to have a CoHo for instance in the mix to keep a balance

It Ends With Us is also my favorite CoHo book.

Rachel Schurig, her Ransom Series is good. Follows a group of brothers who are in a band. Cute little love stories in each book

What do you suggest to start with by both of these authors? I want to read them but I’m always intimidated to start a new author.

Christine

I think with both you could start anywhere. Because they are, after all, quick beach vacationy reads. Maybe pick up The Weekenders by MKA and see what you think.

Milly Johnson, Carole Matthews, Debbie Johnson … all fab authors whose books are fun, well written, have great plot lines and are easy to read 🙂 A bit of fun, a bit of romance, a bit of drama … they’ve got it all !

Jill Shalvis. When I want light reading but still a good book that is the author I turn to. She’s also who I turn to if I’m in a book slump.

Nina George, Jenny Colgan, Sarah Addison Allen. Don’t know if Marlena de Blasi is really summer fluff..but I enjoyed her novels.

Not read.the whole thread so.apologies if she’s been mentioned but Sophie Kinsella is great for.light hearted, hilarious romance. Nicky Pellegrino (sp.?) is great too but don’t read her if you’re hungry, it’s all about the food, I think I put on a stone when I binge read hers a couple years ago lol
