My husband is looking for suggestions on fictional lawyer books. He’s read all the Grisham books so any similar books he’d probably like. Thanks!!

I like The Lincoln Lawyer, as well as the Harry Bosch series (they are in the same universe.)

I only know Harry Bosch but he is a cop. No lawyer themed.

@Antigoni, Harry’s half brother is Mickey Haller, the Lincoln Lawyer.

Has he already read Scott Turow and James Patterson? Linda Fairstein, former head prosecutor for NYC sex crimes unit, has a good series featuring a prosecutor – Alex Cooper Mysteries. Book one is Final Jeopardy. But be warned her books are pretty grim i.e. very realistic.

CJ Box

His guy’s a game warden, not a lawyer.

0
Faith

@Susan I understand that I’ve read them both. Both authors employ similar writing techniques and both deal with the concept of justice. Many people who like Grisham also enjoy Box.

0
Susan

I love CJ Box myself. But someone specifically asking for books about lawyers might not be so interested in wilderness adventures.

0
Faith

Not all of them are wilderness adventure. Three weeks to say goodbye is a thrilling novel about a judge and an adoption case.

0
Susan

@Faith you’re right. That one would fit.
