A scary book about a child

@Valerie who’s it by?

Zoje Stage- cover description states it’s a combination of We Need to Talk about Kevin meets Gone Girl meets The Omen. I haven’t finished it yet, but it’s creepy, and I read many thrillers / horror.

I know that no one requested my opinion buuuut, lol.

I thought it was ok, I found the main character to be very unlikable.

@Michael just liked the fact that it scared me…not many books do that ?

Michael

Yeah. It definitely had moments. Lol. I’m the same way, I love horror but after a while you desensitize yourself.

I like the idea of the book, it’s very unique. I just didn’t latch onto any of the characters.

Again, completely unsolicited opinion. Feel free to tell me to mind my own business 😉

@Michael tbh it was about a year ago when I read it , don’t really remember the characters. ..I struggle to remember my own life these days lol never mind fictional characters

That whole series is good! You‘d want to start with Odd Thomas, though, I would think.

Good idea Joshua. I need to do the same thing

I’m reading IT right now and thoroughly enjoying it. The Green Mile was also amazing, but I wouldn’t classify it as scary.
