It was great. They offered the first book on Netgalley just after it aired and I snapped it up. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing after the show. A lot of the factors that I loved about the series were obviously added by the screenwriter. Still a good book but lacking something in comparison.
Watched the first episode due to all the hype and thought WTF? But carried on as everyone else seemed to like it. By the end of the second episode I was hooked and loved it. Sandra Oh was fantastic.
I was hoping it would be great but…. the dark haired main character I found incredibly annoying. The female psychopath was more believable although I didn’t like her. I think a second series would just be a rerun of series two so probably won’t watch it
Brilliant best actress tv well deserved Villanelle deserved more she was amazing can’t wait till April for the next series apparently follows on 20 secs from where this ended
Loved it, thought watching the first episode that I would not like it but completely hooked after the second, fantastic performance by Jodie Comer (Hope I spelt her name right!)
It wasn’t meant to be believable, surely? Some crime fiction, like many a police procedural, strives for realism. Others, gleefully suspend disbelief. I would put Killing Eve firmly in this latter camp (obviously, as you say, it wasn’t believable at all). As for your second point, I liked the assassin, but perhaps that says more about my twisted personality ?
I absolutely loved it. My favourite tv mini-series in a long time. I loved the two leading ladies – what brilliant actors they are. I loved the confidence and yet fragility below the surface of Villanelle. As psychopaths go, she was captivating. Also, the obvious fear and unsurmountable bravery of Eve. Addictive viewing, in my opinion.
Best thing I’ve seen ever! Much better than Bodyguard which was bizarre, unrealistic and has the clichéd sexual relationship that was completely bonkers, just for a headline (just saying!).
Loved it xx
Bloody loved it. Can’t wait for season 2!
LOVED it!! Watched the series first and then read the book! Both excellent!
Loved it, loved it, loved it!!
Has anyone read the book-how does it compare with the TV series?
Do not like the actress so will not watch
She was in DR Foster-I know what you mean.
no thoughts…never heard of it 🙂

I was hooked. Gave it a try because I loved her in Grey’s & I wasn’t disappointed.
Loved it .
Awesome. Witty and suspenseful. Solid characters and casting. Cannot wait for Season Two!
Got it on DVD as missed it on tv but haven’t watched it yet. Heard it’s really good though.
I’m in the minority here ? Didn’t like it at all.
To be honest it is for me not as good as the hype-its ok I have one episode left so I will reserve my overall comments.
People keep telling me I should try it but what I’ve seen and heard about it really doesn’t appeal.
@Susan, I didn’t either, must confess I gave up on it, which is unusual.
Nope, you’re not the only one. Didn’t like it one bit…
@Jeanette I gave up on it too
I lost interest and didn’t finish watching it.
Very overrated in my opinion, really didn’t get what all the fuss was about.
Loved it x
Brilliant
Brilliant, loved it
Watched the first episode due to all the hype and thought WTF? But carried on as everyone else seemed to like it. By the end of the second episode I was hooked and loved it. Sandra Oh was fantastic.

Thoroughly enjoyed it!!
I was as pro that as I was anti Bodyguard – other people were exactly the reverse.
Loved it! I thought is was so much fun.
Absolutely loved it!!! 5*

Loved every second of it. Fab female casting. Do have a girl crush on Villanelle!!!!

Villanelle’s accents were amazing. Especially as she’s originally from Liverpool. Not a trace. Fantastic!
One of the best programmes of the year
Brilliant!

“TAKE ME TO THE HOLE”
Fantastic!
I have up on it then went back to it not the worst show but not the best but a bit weird toward the end ?
It’s one of my favourite series of the year!
There is always one and I’m the one. Fast moving. But to many loop holes in the story. Not my favourite.
Loved it
Enjoyed the TV series very much – and the differences between it and the book are well-done…necessary for enjoying it in the different format
loved series 1
loved the series
Love love love
I think Adam should have done it …
Had to watch it twice. ??? Read the book as well. It fills in a lot of background. ?
Bloody brilliant & is on again soon I gather.
Loved it.
Crazy good.loved it
Loved it

@Sara I still don’t understand why she didn’t get an Emmy nomination! She was a revelation.
Same here, Sandra Oh seemed to get a lot more recognition and while she was very good Jodie was outstanding!
Loved it. And at some stage will read the book.
Loved it -wonderful acting
Absolutely loved it xxx
I didn’t either Susan ?
Brilliant!
Loved it and the books are good as well – you get more of Villanelle’s background.
I found it fascinating. I only hope that the obvious, tet to come next series is as good. Somehow though I doubt it will be…?
I loved it. I downloaded it from iPlayer and binge watched. The ending left it hanging though making me wonder it there would be another series.
I loved it – Loved the humour- thought the psycho actress who is Liverpudlian apparently was brill – her accents were awesome
Yes, she was in Dr Foster-played the girlfriend-a good actor.
She was also in the Philippa Gregory tv drama about Elizabeth Woodville
@Liz she was also in my mad fat diary
She’s ace
She still lives at home with her parents!
The next Olivia Coleman I think …
@Melanie she’s definitely one to watch x
Loved it. Can’t wait for 2nd series ?
My favourite show of last year.
I loved it. Can’t wait for Season 2. 🙂
??
brilliant
Excellent.
Loved it
Loved it.
didn’t do anything for me 🙁
Terrible and unbelievable. The assassin was likeable.

I thought the humour was terrific
Loved it. Can’t wait to season 2.

Loved it can’t wait for 2nd series
I have finished watching it tonight. I still cant decide on it. I may have to watch it again.
Fabulous, engaging and brilliant characters
