Just finished The Girl on the Train. Wow!
A fun ride! ?
I loved it too!
Right?! DID NOT see that coming!
It took me FOREVER to start figuring it out, but that was when I was so close to the end and I was like, wait, what?
Regina M Lorenz Her second book, Into the Water is on my list to read next. I hope it’s as good as this one was!
@Elisabeth Into the Water is an equally great ride!
@Rebecca good to know, thank you!
@Elisabeth I have GOT to read that one!
I’m not big into mysteries but it was pretty interesting. I took me a bit to piece everything together
I found it predictable and flat. Sorry. Lots of people like it.
I wasn’t impressed at all.
I liked it too, but was quite disappointed: too many unnecessary chapters – sometimes, less is much better (maybe because I do enjoy short stories)… And given the characters, the ending could easily be predicted. So, I expect more and better from Into the Water 🙂
I read it and liked it but I would have enjoyed it more if it hadn’t been compared to Gone Girl which I though was one of the worst books ever written
I agree with you about Gone Girl.
Glad you enjoyed it. I thought it was ok. Unfortunately, that’s a typical response for popular books, with me. I expect so much from them and they rarely deliver.
My reaction too!
I did not like that book. I actually liked the movie better
Better get Dark Places. I think its even more of a stunner
I finished that one a couple of weeks ago, and i really loved it because it is very close to my daily routine as i am a train commuter
I listened to the audiobook, and liked it a lot.
I liked it
Love it! It introduced me to psychological thriller.
Couldn’t get though it. Read summary afterwards
I liked it too! If you liked it try “The Woman in Cabin 10”
