I liked it too, but was quite disappointed: too many unnecessary chapters – sometimes, less is much better (maybe because I do enjoy short stories)… And given the characters, the ending could easily be predicted. So, I expect more and better from Into the Water 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it. I thought it was ok. Unfortunately, that’s a typical response for popular books, with me. I expect so much from them and they rarely deliver.

I read it and liked it but I would have enjoyed it more if it hadn’t been compared to Gone Girl which I though was one of the worst books ever written

Better get Dark Places. I think its even more of a stunner
I finished that one a couple of weeks ago, and i really loved it because it is very close to my daily routine as i am a train commuter
