When someone in the bus queue insists on talking, even when you have made it clear that (although you are normally sociable) you are just in the mood to read, and you would very much like to be able to carry on with it – pretty pretty please?

You can’t put two different historical eras on the same bookshelf. They can be on the same bookcase, but a separate shelf

Talking about a book character as if they were a real person you’ve known your whole life with another book lover. Then people ask who you’re talking about, and both of you look at them like, “oh…uh…he’s a character in a book we’re reading.”

Not having anywhere near enough bookshelves, being interrupted while reading, and, related to that, people who don’t get that reading a book does NOT equal “doing nothing”.

When you walk across the book shop and you are broke ???

Facing difficult synonyms and you didn’t bring a dictionnary with you

When you lose the page ?

When you are really enjoying a book and you get interrupted by people

When you can’t get over a book that changed your life

When you can’t stop moaning over dead characters ??

When you don’t have time

When you badly want to read a book that you don’t have or didn’t find

While you’re reading and your little baby brother/sister/son/daughter accindently pour a liquid on the book
