I honestly don’t think I have either. I tried re reading Harry Potter but got about 2 chapters in and said my TBR is too long to be re reading a series lol
Me! I can’t reread books. If I try, I end up just skimming through them. I have a such a large TBR pile that id rather spend that time reading a new book.
Retead HP multiple times while learning how to read in English, after that, never. But I know one day I will do it with winternight trilogy or daughter of smoke and bones..
1. I read a book last year that may very well be my all time favorite book, and I want to read it again to make SURE it can claim such a title. Haven’t reread yet though.
2. I’m in the middle of reading TheFireman and I already want to read it again to pick up on stuff I may have missed.
3. Between 3rd and 5th grade I read The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle a total of 21 times.
I realized years ago that I cant reread books… I tried once but the thrill of what happens next in the story is lost because I remember what happens and its not “new” anymore. 🙁
I absolutely hate rereading, but have been getting an itch to reread the Harry Potter series. I’m such a huge fan and I feel like a fake since I’ve only read them once. Everything else on the TBR pile has to come first though!
My husband does this with books and movies! I loved rereading things as a kid and rewatching movies, so I was devastated when my husband confessed to me that it bores him so much ?
I love rereading especially good books, sometimes you pick up on something that you didn’t the first time so whilst it’s a reread can feel like reading the book for the first time again
When I was a teen I used to rereead Harry Potter all the time, but I think I haven’t reread a book in like 10 or 15 years. There are so many to read and I want to read them all. Re-reading? Ain’t nobody got time for that, lol.
I do a reread about once/yr. To put that in perspective I read 40-50 books/yr. I very rarely reread books cause there are just way too many new books out there.
No?
Same.. aint nobody got time for that
I agree.
There’s so many unread books out there! Why read the same book twice?
I’ve only reread non-fiction books so far.
I don’t generally like rereading books. There are more books to read!
I will reread books with my daughter, though.
Too many books to read to spend time rereading ?
Same. I have too much on my tbr pile ??
Me neither! I already have so many books to read as it is lol
I read this as ‘never read a book’ I was gonna say, ‘well this is not the group for you my friend!’ ?
I never reread either!
I’m usually a one and done type myself. I’m not a big re-reader at all.
I don’t reread books typically.
I honestly don’t think I have either. I tried re reading Harry Potter but got about 2 chapters in and said my TBR is too long to be re reading a series lol
I reread series just before the last book in the series comes out, but I really have to love the series…
When I was a kid I could reread a book three or four times. Now as an adult, I never have the patience.
I don’t reread either. That’s why I don’t mind giving books I’ve already read away ?
I don’t. I always have too many on my TBR pile!! ?
Me!!! I maybe reread the first three HP books when I was a teen but other than that I have not reread any of my books!
Me! I can’t reread books. If I try, I end up just skimming through them. I have a such a large TBR pile that id rather spend that time reading a new book.
Too many others to read!!!
Me either.
Retead HP multiple times while learning how to read in English, after that, never. But I know one day I will do it with winternight trilogy or daughter of smoke and bones..
Me! I don’t re-read books either. Life is too short and there are so many more books to read! ?
??♀️ Same! Unless it’s an epic fantasy series with tons of detail. Then it feels like reading a new book
I have a couple comfort books I reread every once in a while ??♀️
My mom is like that and couldn’t understand why I moved 200 books across the country with me because I’d already read them lol ?
I never reread
Me neither! With three exceptions…
Other than that, I’m with ya!
I only do it to refresh my memory if it’s a long series with lots of plot and characters. Otherwise not at all
I realized years ago that I cant reread books… I tried once but the thrill of what happens next in the story is lost because I remember what happens and its not “new” anymore. 🙁
I have no desire to reread books. There are just too many books to choose from that I feel it is a waste of times to reread…
Same here! There is too much too read and not enough time.
I absolutely hate rereading, but have been getting an itch to reread the Harry Potter series. I’m such a huge fan and I feel like a fake since I’ve only read them once. Everything else on the TBR pile has to come first though!
me too.
My dad’s like this. He doesn’t rewatch movies either.
Same! I’ll buy them to read abd they’ll just sit there on my shelf never to be touched again unless I’m organizing iy
I don’t either
I have only done it a handful of times, I really hate rereading
I have no desire to read a book that I’ve already read. There’s too many books out there for me to explore for me to reread something!
I don’t enjoy rereading because I already know what’s going to happen. I think I’ve reread…maybe 3 books my whole life?
I will revisit books I loved, but just to skim over the parts that helped me love it in the first place. ?
I reread Harry Potter occasionally, but not much else
Life too short to reread a book. There are too many!
I read too slow to reread books lol!!
No i read certain books i like keep books like reread but a friend like that like another mom she read once that it it ok everyone different
Me neither!
Omg!!! I can’t even imagine doing this (for me personally) ????
I re read books I love, just like i re watch movies i love.
??♀️??♀️
I dont typically ?
Me either
I haven’t either. I really want to reread so of my favorites, but then I get distracted by new book.
I haven’t either. I’ve been contemplating on doing a reread in the future though ❤️
I’m not a rereader either. But for some reason I keep books once I’ve read them. ?♀️
I very rarely re-read books.
Same here
Same I know who have going to happen and also probably remembered paragraphs ???
My husband does this with books and movies! I loved rereading things as a kid and rewatching movies, so I was devastated when my husband confessed to me that it bores him so much ?
I don’t like rereading books, which is why I rather check libraries books out lol
yeah same I do like to reread Harry potter from time to time or Lord of the rings, but I’m not big on rereading either ^^
I love rereading especially good books, sometimes you pick up on something that you didn’t the first time so whilst it’s a reread can feel like reading the book for the first time again
I never re read books either!
I don’t reread books. That’s why I don’t bother with buying them, I just use my library a lot.
Yes, I never reread a book but just because I have many on my TBR list.
When I was a teen I used to rereead Harry Potter all the time, but I think I haven’t reread a book in like 10 or 15 years. There are so many to read and I want to read them all. Re-reading? Ain’t nobody got time for that, lol.
I’ve only reread one book (Matilda) and that was when I was like 11 years old
I do a reread about once/yr. To put that in perspective I read 40-50 books/yr. I very rarely reread books cause there are just way too many new books out there.
The only books I have ever re-read are Laura Ingalls Wilder books, when I feel like connecting with my childhood self.
Used to do that but now I’m very much against it as I think it’s time that can best used reading a new book.
I dont reread often. Only Little Women & Harry Potter I have read more than once.
Very, very few. There’s too many I haven’t read!
