I have had a few problems with books turning up damaged. Not in transit but before it was packed it was damaged and was still sent out. So 50/50 for me.

Be careful buying from Amazon right now. My sister just 250 dollars worth of stuff and on Amazon using her prime account and she got hacked. I would normally say yes they are safe to use but I guess right now Amazon has been having issues with hacking they haven’t told anyone about.

I buy almost exclusively from Amazon. I have their card though so I am buying with points most the time. Love the fast shipping and I have never had an issue with quality or customer service.

Jessica some sites are not safe…the pages can be crooked/wavey or torn up pages

That’s an issues with any site. I’ve gotten damaged books from amazon and even books a million where I’ve walked in the store. Most places even small stores will replace an item if it comes damaged.

Lucy thats usually more the fault of the post office/carrier than amazon.
Unless they dont wrap the books well (this can happen) but if it happens they will replace it easily.

Yes, I mostly get my books from amazon. I’ve had issues from everyone I’ve bought from at some stage. So amazon are no different.

I’ve bought a lot of books from Amazon over the years and only once did I have a problem with one being damaged, but they sent a new one very quickly. Just make sure you check the seller (if it’s not from Amazon, but through Amazon) and check their selling numbers, if it’s a physical copy you’re buying.

I agree with Audrey, they sometimes can arrive damaged. They often put my books in with other stuff we might have ordered and then the book gets banged around in shipping and comes damaged. On the bright side I have never had an issue getting a replacement, they just send me a new one and I send back the damaged one on their dime.
