Big Stone Gap series, by Adriana Trigiani. Big Stone Gap is a small town in southwest Virginia, near where I grew up in East Tennessee. I enjoyed the books as well as the recent movie. The movie played here in Missouri only for a week or so. I don’t know how it did nationally though.

Def. Debbie Macomber’s Blossom St! Cedar Cove is also wonderful but there are a lot of books in the series.

Also, Inn at Angel Island is the sister series to Capelight by the same authors. Equally as wonderful

Oh yeah I definitely know that. I love cats and I love mysteries. That’s why the librarian told me about The Cat Who… books. These sound really good too. I will definitely read them 🙂

I tried those books. I think they dragged on so I stopped but these ones they suck you in so much.

That’s the kind of books I enjoy. Have you read any Agatha Christie’s books? She’s a great mystery author

0
Amy

no but I have a whole list of mysteries to get to on goodreads

0
Amy

I just checked… i have 45 mysteries to read. Not sure if those are also series or singles

0
Krissy

I highly recommend her. In my opinion, she’s the best mystery author

0
Krissy

Agatha Christie doesn’t have series. Not in the normal sense anyway. She has characters who are in several books but they’re not connected like a series

Krissy

If you haven’t read Sue Grafton’s books yet, they’re pretty good. They’re a series but you don’t necessarily have to read them in order
