Big Stone Gap series, by Adriana Trigiani. Big Stone Gap is a small town in southwest Virginia, near where I grew up in East Tennessee. I enjoyed the books as well as the recent movie. The movie played here in Missouri only for a week or so. I don’t know how it did nationally though.

Agatha Christie doesn’t have series. Not in the normal sense anyway. She has characters who are in several books but they’re not connected like a series
Nora Roberts has the Chesapeake Bay series.They are small town and concentrate on each of the siblings in 4 books…Sea Swept,Rising Tides,Inner Harbor,and Chesapeake Blue….great books!

Fannie Flag writes about small town happenings and her books will keep you laughing.
I collect Cape Light series by Katherine Spencer/late Thomas Kinkade. They are wonderful & set in a small picturesque town in the upper East Coast.
Def. Debbie Macomber’s Blossom St! Cedar Cove is also wonderful but there are a lot of books in the series.
Also, Inn at Angel Island is the sister series to Capelight by the same authors. Equally as wonderful

I tried those books. I think they dragged on so I stopped but these ones they suck you in so much.

If you haven’t read Sue Grafton’s books yet, they’re pretty good. They’re a series but you don’t necessarily have to read them in order
