@Susan Ah. OK. After the ‘success’ of Bodyguard, I’d recommend books by Ian Patrick or Paddy Magrane.

Mel Comley’s DI Sally Parker series. I know others prefer the Hero or Justice series, but Sally grabbed me from the very first book and never let go and now that she’s doing cold cases I’m just waiting for each new installment.

Chris Carter’s Robert Hunter and Carlos Garcia would make a brilliant TV series too. I also agree Kim Stone would be ace.

I think Chris’s would be good as films or tv series, but I’d be really worried that they would cast wrong or something

LJ Ross DCI Ryan, it would make a fantastic series on so many levels – scenic/dramatic area, full of suspense and great characters. It could happen! Richard Madden could play the lead!

I bumped into a Film producer on sat night in a pub, he wants to read mine after reading the reviews.

I thought yeh ok, then he sent me his address during my Sunday morning hang over, he asked for two paperbacks to be sent to him.

He Worked on Harry Potter and bond at pinewood now freelance so fingers crossed ?

I think he was impressed that I already had casted room 119 and told him who I saw playing who ?

I can’t believe no-one has taken Stuart Macbride’s Logan McRae and Roberta Steele novels onto the box – they’re as good as No Offence (with the wonderful Joanna Scanlon).
