George and the Dragon by Chris Wormell. It’s a twist on the usual story ~ more of a picture book format. I love it.

@Libby This was a book at my Grandmother’s house when I was a kid. It had been a cousin or my youngest uncle’s book.

I loved it.

This was my son’s favorite around that age. I read it over and over. Then I gave it to my great nephew on his fourth birthday. He loves it too.

My father’s dragon is an excellent book but it’s a bit above a 4-year-old’s level. However if you read together/to him, I’d say it’s one of my favorites.
