I am 71. I have never had a book slump. Sorry that I can’t help you. Reading is like breathing to me.
Sorry, that wasn’t helpful. Do the Poppsugar Challenge 2019 and set up a Goodreads account. This will give you goals and help you discover new https://www.popsugar.com/entertainment/photo-gallery/45450968/image/45517517/Reading-Challenge-2019
Read small books. Or books that are light in topic, not heavy.
@Cheryl good advice
I am in the other direction! I can’t read fast enough! Binge reading is one of my favorite things to do! Hard as it gets is good!
Or read an old favourite.
Research the types of books you like or want to read. During your research you will probably find recommendations. If that doesn’t help go to a thrift shop or used book store and shop for something that speaks to you. The research and shopping can take as little or as much to as you want.
Try It Ends With Us, Confess or All Your Perfects from Colleen Hoover!!
Go to an author that you enjoy.
I picked three books and started reading again made it a goal to see witch one I could read the fastest
Never have had one.
Neither have I. Thank goodness.
How about an audio book?
Book slumps are horrible monsters, sometimes it’s just you telling yourself you need a break…read an old favourite, listen to an audio book, mix up your genres a bit, or just take a break do other things you love and g9 back to it, hope you fight it soon
Keep trying. It will come.
I try reading short stories to end my reading slump
