I’m Curious. How do you keep track of your book titles that you have read or tbr? Do you write it in a daily diary, bullet journal or another method?

Goodreads! It’s the best!
I have heard some people use it but I am unsure about it. I want to check out all the options first 😉
Thank you for the comment
yvw ?
Definitely agree with Goodreads. I’d be lost without it
I circle page number 22 as that is my date of birth … Hahah
So you keep all your books?
I tried writing mine down….but I stopped because it woulld have only touched the books I was reading since I started the book list.
Goodreads be lost with out it
I have a file on my laptop with a list of every book I’ve read, if I own it, how many times I’ve read it, etc
Goodreads…
I have a list that goes back to the summer between 9th and 10th grade and I always add the books I have read with the date I finished reading. Also, I have a Goodreads account.
Goodreads has all my books sorted then I have a book journal for books I’ve read
Listography (http://listography.com/ — love this site! you can make lists for anything you want), bullet journal, and GoodReads.
GoodReads is mainly for the yearly challenge and cataloguing, bullet journal has only tracked my Books Read for three years since I started bullet journaling (2015, 2016, 2017 and counting). Listography is my earliest tracker and most complete one because I have lists for Read, To Be Read, and To Buy. 😀
What’s bullet Journaling?
@Maureen why not Google search for it??
Good grief, get a life. I just asked a simple question. Myob @Steve.
Maureen Townsend Le Gault it is kinda a-year-book that you can write all your tbr list, books already read and all you own (personal diary-ish) … you can decorate what ever you like too. Some people puts also what they will do for each week (supermarket, appointments, etc) …
@Maureen so sorry for the mix up
@Tram-anh, thank you so much. I’ve been using my calendar book.
@Steve, no problem.
@Maureen — It’s an analog system of productivity. It’s a hybrid combination of planner/to-do-list/journal/shopping list/tracker/anything else you can think of. Check out the official site for a tutorial by the founder:

April B. Morales, thank you!
I remember everything i have read
I remember what I’ve read. My tbr pile is all over the house and I have no idea what all is in it lol. I just wing it and hope I don’t buy duplicates. If I do, I give one away. I need to get organized if I ever get the time ?
Goodreads
I always write all books I buy, in the program Word of my laptop and print them. As for my reading, since 2014, I write them also on Word. I write the dates (start and finish), the author names, (the name of the serie, if necessary) the title, the number of pages. I also write those books that I didn’t finish. I do that each month and printed it also. So, I know what I read. I do it each year, by months
I have a reading log that I got from Amazon. I love it. It really seems to work for me
Excel spreadsheet and goodreads
I love to see your spreadsheet
Goodreads all the way. That’s the only way I can. And I love all my shelves. ?
I started keeping track this year on my notes app on my iPad.
Good reads for sure!
Good reads and a notebook
Goodreads but i realised last year it disappears once you say you completed your challenge so I’ll have to write them down in my new notebook!
It doesn’t disappear, it adds it to your read shelf
I like Goodreads, I don’t have it on my phone, so when I purchase/borrow books It tells me if I have read it or have it.
GoodReads
Good reads as well
Read,
Currently reading
To read meaning I have it but want to read keeps track of what books I have this wayand I added:
Interested in meaning I want it don’t have it yet.
Goodreads, although the most of the books I read are on my iPhone and Goodreads doesn’t have a topic for this, which is Catholic centered
You can create your own topics
@Carol ahhhhh good to hear ?
The only books that I will buy new, pay full price for, reread, and keep in my collection are my Catholic books. The rest are gifts, free, or bought on the cheap and I pass them on when I’m done or need more room.
@Rhonda which books do you like the best? I want a few new ones
Rhonda Treasure in Clay by Fulton Sheen is a good book
In my planner. 😀
Write it in a book journal.
Goodreads!
I keep track of read books on goodreads …the books I have but haven’t read I keep on PBS. For my kindle books, I have a notebook .
Goodreads and my reading journal.
Goodreads, Litsy, reading journal
Also, I just downloaded a free app from iSortIt! I think this will be helpful in cataloging everything I own.
Love Litsy! I am CatLass007 on Litsy. What’s your handle?
My annual calender book..
I use Excel.
@Jane @luv2readbookz I just followed you. ?
@Lisa, seems I’m already following you. LOL.
Goodreads
Reading record using a excercise book!
I have a blog.
http://www.getitnoted.com/ – just launched a free app. Hope you like it.
I’ve always kept a list in a folder dedicated to the purpose, but now I also keep a note of them in my bullet journal and I do a monthly blog post about them too.
I have a reading journal and I keep track on goodreads as well
goodreads
Good reads
I only scan books I’m reading or have read with Goodreads. TBR, physical books are just scattered everywhere, and I have little notes written and kept on a box, and I also have dozens of screenshots on my phone. It’s not organized, and I have bought duplicates. I’m starting to go through my collection and compiling a list and catalogue basically.
I kept journals for over 20 years. Now I’ve used GOODREADS for at least 5 years. It has saved me time and money as I often pick up a book I’ve already read and I can check it from my phone
Goodreads and I have a folder. My husband doesn’t get it lol.
http://bookcrossing.com/
Yes a book journal, a summary, date, rating etc.
Phone notepad
Lisa, we even have the same Groucho Marx quote!
Goodreads is fantastic for this.
I have a list on my computer in a word document. Along with a list of books I want to read
I have something similar. I use a spreadsheet, one for just mysteries and suspense and one for everything else. There is a tab in each spreadsheet for each letter if the alphabet, and the books are listed by author. It is great when I am looking for something to read in the library.
This! ??
That’s one of my favorites.
Good reads help
Amazing.
I have got to get a journal for this! ??✏
This is beyond amazing!
i keep a notebook that i list books i have read and then another for books i want to read.
This is exactly what I used to have!!!
Good reads
I use an app called my library to track the ones I own.. not the same but it prevents me from buying ones I already have when I’m at the store and can’t remember.
I use Goodreads and a journal
Goodreads!
My book app has a section where it keeps most current books started on top
I have a notebook and use Goodreads.
Besides Goodreads. Bookmarks.
Keep track?
I use Goodreads I also have a journal I list it in
I really wish I’d kept track of my reading from childhood. I’ve tried to reconstruct my reading history on Goodreads, but I know there are gaps.
A journal
I keep a journal of the books I’ve read with a review a d the date started/ended. I keep a bullet journal for TBR books
I use Goodreads. The app is easy for me to access at the library when i want a book to check out.
