Ebooks are great for reading in need at night. Light weight, no external light needed with most. Real books are great for reading at home all day. I am always reading at least one of each, plus an audio book when my hands aren’t free.

Both, you get loads of free, or cheap books on Amazon, new authors you wouldn’t normally try in a paper book.

I try to get into ebooks, but I have a difficult time absorbing the story and lose interest quickly. On numerous occasions, I just stop trying and get my hands on a hardcopy. On several more, if I did manage to finish the e-version, I’ve gone out and gotten the hardcopy, and rereading it felt like I was reading it for the first time.

If I have the book, I try to get an ebook as well so that I can read on the go. Carrying a book everywhere isn’t always possible.

I read both. I typically use my kindle to purchase ebooks and if i read them and love them loads, I will purchase the hard copies to display on my bookcase. If I have one book in a physical copy i try to get the remaining in a series in the same. I’ve started reading only ebooks to save space and if I love them I will buy them lol.

Both. I try to avoid buying books so whichever version the library has is how I read it. Also, Kindle is great for travel, and free downloads. It also come in handy when I want to read a really long book. I purchased The Stand for Kindle so I didn’t have to lug it around everywhere.

I prefer paper books. However, my nook has over 600 books on it, and as I’m in the Navy, it wouldn’t be practical for me to own all of those books with how much I deploy and move.

I often have a hard back, audible and iBook all going at the same time. We have terrible traffic in Seattle area so the audio books are great. When I’ve got good lighting I prefer a hard back. In the middle of the night or stuck in lines or at appointments the iBook is great. ??

Any and all versions! Love the physical book shopping experience the best. However, reading, at night,in bed is my Kindle Paperwhite time. (Lightweight, backlit, and if I fall to sleep, it remembers my page and doesn’t crash down on my face or to the floor.?)

I do both. The reader is easy for bringing a variety of books in a small space, and for free downloads. I do prefer real paper, but I see the advantages of the reader and it’s been very helpful to me at times.

I use the reader and physical books, sometimes with the same book. It just depends on the situation. If I’m in the perfect reading conditions at home with good light, then I may have the physical book. If it’s dark or I’m in bed, or at work or traveling, I may use the ereader instead for convenience, larger font, better light, easier to hold and carry around, etc. It’s not uncommon for me to be reading one book in either format, including audio.

I do both. It’s easier for me to read from my Kindle at night, but I’ll buy physical books as I come across them. Plus it’s easier for me to get this from the library than physical books so I do that too. Then if I really like an ebook, I’ll go buy a physical copy.

Unless I’ve started buying physical copies of a series, if I buy a book it’s probably on my kindle. It’s most likely cheaper and definitely more convenient. I do sometimes buy physical copies but it’s rare and it’s probably because the cover makes it worth the extra money. However most physical copy books I read are from my library.
