I might try but in reality I would probably just watch the movie first.

It doesn’t make much of a difference either way for me.

There’s a science to this for me. It depends on how much l like the director, the screenplay writer, and the cast. If the trailers make it look amazing, I’ll watch the movie first–love it for what it is, AND THEN read the book.

Truly depends on the movie, if it’s something I know I’ll read and love I’ll read it first, if I know I’ll probably not like reading it (crying entire book, author is not the style I like to read) I’ll watch the movie. I normally try a sample of the book first.

You is going to be a TV series on Lifetime! It premieres in September! I’m so excited. Providence was very different – it’s a bit paranormal, but she’s such a wonderful writer!

Book before movie, always!!! However, I read once where a person watches the movie first before the book, that way they can enjoy both, seeing as how when you read the book first, you then closely scrutinize every inconsistency in the movie. Not how I would do stuff tbh, but it might be interesting to try. ?

It depends on if I see a trailer for the movie first. If I do and the trailer looks really, really good I will wait to read the book. Reading the book then going to see the movie always makes you disappointed in the movie lol

it depends if I have read a book and a movie comes out have too see it. Movies after I have read the book never live up to my imagination. However if the movie comes out before I have read the book then they will be pretty even because I dont get to build the characters in my mind.

Though I did watch The Astronaut before I read it and I’m so glad I did. It really helped me picture what everything was but didn’t ruin the book because the movie left stuff out and it’s just a good read.
