I am on the last book in Lea Wait’s Mainely Needlepoint series. Set on the Main Coast, each chapter starts with quotes or info about historical needlepoint, and each book includes a recipe. Fun and easy read.

I am hooked on Linda Castillo. She writes murder mysteries about the Amish community here in Ohio. The police chief is a female who left the Amish order when she was a teen. They have plenty of twists and turns.

I am a fan of James Lee Burke and the Dave Robichaux (sp?) series. Can’t say enough good about this author. Dave is my favorite fictional character. Please give it a try.

Not cliche at all! There is a reason they stand the test of time! They are wonderfully written with great plot lines and twists. My absolute fave!
