Carl Hiaasen!!! His books are wild, wacky, zany adventures set in south Florida. I discovered them when I lived there and it was great fun recognizing some of the places!
If you’re not adverse to crude satirical humor, Christopher Moore’s books are my favorite. Pick one or all, they’re all great. Lol
