Romance, historical fiction, general fiction leaning towards women’s fiction, and some mysteries. Nothing too scary or suspenseful.

An older novel by Catherine Gaskin – Sarah Dane, about the convict immigrant experience. She also wrote one about the Australian gold rush, but can’t recall title. A good non fiction book about Australian history and culture is The Fatal Shore by Robert Hughes (I think).
