Falling kingdoms, air awakens, the wrath and the dawn, kiss of deception, the winners kiss…just to name a few. ?
Thank you Faith! I’ve got falling kingdoms and kiss of deception on my TBR now
@Jordan I love both of those series and I just recently read the Air awaken series and it quickly climbed my favorite series of all time list! It’s amazing! An emotional train wreck but soooo good!
Which of those series has the most dark badassery?
@Jordan I would say air awakens or kiss of deception. If you meant of kiss of deception and falling kingdoms…ummm..maybe kiss of deception by just a tad.
Perfect thank you I’m always looking for some butt kicking mayhem !

I didn’t like it 🙁
@Jordan oh that’s right. Bummer. I love the Frog Princess. It might be MG, I can’t remember. But it’s an amazing series.
GoT has ruined me for a lot of stuff.
Also Spindle Fire. Incredible Sleeping Beauty retelling. The second in the duology comes out in April.
Does it need to be YA?
Nope
If you’re up to a massive series, Robert Jordans Wheel of Time is a must. Otherwise, the trilogy that got me into fantasy- R A Salvatore’s Icewind Dale trilogy.

My husband swears the Iron Druid series is great. It’s more urban fantasy though.
I’ve read the first book and really liked it. #9 I think it’s coming out soon.
He listens to audio books at work but he liked this series so much he actually volunteered to buy me the hard copies so I would read them. That in and if itself makes me believe they are really good ?
I like them too! I think 9 is the last one, and I’ll be sad they’re done!
You should listen to them. The narrator is amazing! Can’t wait for the next (and last) book to come out next month. 🙂
That’s exactly what he said.
I love urban fantasy!

Grisha trilogy / Six of Crows!
Not YA, but Winternight trilogy by Katherine Arden and The Night Angels trilogy by Brent Weeks were beyond fantastic ❤️
People really like Grisha and six of crows. Definitely reading them soon
I read Six of Crows first and honestly connected with it more. BUT, as an afterthought now that I’ve finished Grisha, it gave a better idea of the magic system and the world set up!
I think I’ll definitely start with the Grisha books first because I do really enjoy world building
