Check out Inkitt! Its a great app and there are some awesome stories on there. One of my favorite stories from there is in the process of being published this August 🙂

He was a very good author .. one who drew his characters with grace and wit.. many from everyday jobs, but thrust into interesting situations..no super heros, just ordinary folk..”A Town Like Alice” was made into a series on PBS.. the original title was “The Legacy”..

Other old English authors from the past are Howard Spring and Warwick Deeping. Very old fashioned of course, but lovely prose and good stories!
