Don’t know if you’re into Dan Brown, but his latest, Origin, is set in Spain. Lots of descriptions of locations.

I second this. His books are so descriptive of the locations/history. I read Inferno, set in Florence while I was there then went on an “Inferno Tour” that takes you around to all of the locations in the book. It was fun!

I agree. I read this book recently. It left me wanting to visit the many places mentioned. I enjoyed some of the interesting tidbits of information about some of the amazing places. I was ready to book a plane ticket while I was reading this book.

The Time In Between but Maria Duenas is one of my very favorite books. The translation is perfect. Spain also made a miniseries of the book that you can watch on Hulu.

The Concrete Blonde by Michael Connelly. You will want to keep on reading the Harry Bosch series after that. ?

Please choose The Shadow of the Wind! That way I can live vicariously through you. 🙂 (I dream of going to Barcelona because of that book.)
