Great to hear! I just bought a copy (as an early B-day gift to me and to support our local independent bookstore). Looking forward to digging in.

I️ couldn’t put it down! If you liked Nightingale you might also like The Orphans Tale by Pam Jenoff. All her books are great .

Is K. Hannah a romance novelist in the style oh Danielle Steele. Would you call her work chick lit? Also Jodi Picoult. Same questions.

No, I find her writing and Picoult to be much deeper. I am not a big Danielle Steele fan, the true queen of chick lit. Her books, to me, are same story, change location, change names. Jodi Picoult brings up great discussion topics on some heavy subjects. I have read several of hers and will continue to read more. This is the first book I have read by Hannah, but will read more to see if I like them as well as this one.

I’ve been a fan of Kristen Hannah since she first started writing and while I haven’t read her newest yet(in my tbr) The Nightingale was one of my favorites by her and a definite 5 star read for me. I think it would make an amazing movie too.
