It really depends on the book. Some characters are like really good wine–I want to sit with them for a bit.

It depends on the book. Sometimes, if a book is really good or it has left an “Oh wow I will never read a book that good again” feeling, I have to wait a day or 2. Sometimes I can dive right into a new book, especially if it’s a book I am anticipating.

If I finish it late at night, I pick out the next one to read and might not start it until the next morning. I always have a book I am reading.

I’m not a very fast reader but I also like to read two books at the same time! I’m currently reading two books, one in English and the other in Portuguese! I take a small break before I start on a new one! ?

1
Reply
Michelle

The better the book, the harder it is to like the next one. I have to find easy reads in between good ones but I go straight from one book to another. No in between time.

Depends on the book I finish and how many books I am reading at the time.

1
Reply
Nancy

That depends on the book. I’ve spent days in book grief, unable to leave the story behind and begin a new one. I usually read short stories or poetry then. But sometimes I just have to re-read the story I just finished. I actually love when that happens!
