Only once, but now ask how many times I have seen the film.

I think more than ten times

Only once so far. But the film is one of my favourites! “A man who doesn’t spend time with his family can never be a real man.”

Never and I hated the movie.

why?

Well, at the time I really thought it glorified some really horrible people. I was quite the young idealist in 1972 and just didn’t want to see monsters “humanized”. Also the horses head scene upset me for weeks. Months, even.

Now I see your answer and I am also upset for the head of horse. I know that it is the real horse head from the movie introduction.

What?! That is real…?

Only once but I got a heck of a sunburn bc I was sitting in the sun back in the day and it was so good I lost track of time.

Haven’t read it. Saw the film once, it was okay but not really my kind of film, and Marlon Brando mumbles a lot.

You can try to read the novel then you will get more details than the movie

Just once. It was published when I was a teenager, and a copy was passed around school with a particularly steamy sex scene marked. So, of course, I read the entire novel. But just once.

I think that movie is more famous than the novel

It’s one of the few examples of a movie being as good as/perhaps better than the book, in my opinion.

I read it a few times. Many years ago, when I was a teen.

Just once, because my dad told me it was one of the few books he’d ever read/liked.

I read it many years ago. Before the film came out. The film is one of the few based on a book that is much better than the book…. Probably because it is still always in the top two on critics list of 100 best films every. It is indeed that good.

0 – but always intrigued whether it’s one that I would like!
