Not even 1!!! It’s atrocious since I’ve been on holiday all month :/ I tried reading american War by Omar El Akkad but hated it so much I havent been able to will myself to pick up anything else

1
Reply
Annette

Maybe you should stop that and pick up another.. I used to force myself to finish books, but these days I find my time more valuable so I don’t stick to a book I really don’t like anymore.. have fun reading ?

4
Greta

@Annette yes, I dropped it! I don’t force myself to read either. But now I’m in a rut and don’t feel like reading, it’s so sad haha

2
Annette

Poor you… give yourself some time and when you feel up for it again, pick another book ? nothing to feel sad about, it happens..!

Just 2. I read books Very slowly, looking up words & places as I go. Books truly open the world for me. I don’t understand reading a book fast.

5
Reply
Isabelle

I think I’m a relatively fast reader with some books but it’s not that I read fast just to finish a book quickly. I just enjoy the story so much and don’t notice going through it quickly. I still very much enjoy the books.

That said, if I add in text books and the story books I read to the kids at school where I do work experience, it brings the total to 20-30.
