When you find a book you are interested in put it where you are most likely to read them like the kitchen table or the couch. It reminds me that I have them and I choose them over other stuff like paying bills or cleaning.
yeah more like focused I wasn’t clear on that I see now xD I am not focused at all at the moment, just audiobooks for a while now and I can’t seem to focus on paperbacks anymore which is super sad
1. Touch the book, enjoy the feel. 2. Smell the book, it’s so good. 3. Open the book and look at the font used. I bet its day on the eyes. 4. Measure the weight of it in your hands, the sensation of turning a page. 5. Get under that blanket, put your feet up and get lost in that world.
Usually when I pick it up and start reading and I can feel the progress of how much I have read and have left to read is when I switch from my nook to physical
I found the first one really hard, but now it’s quite easy to switch. You just need to get through one you enjoy bi try to alternate a bit now. I do a combo of kindle, audiobooks and paper books (usually op shop finds that are cheaper than the kindle version!)
How do you read ebooks? I love the feel of real books, turning the page, carrying it with me, smelling the exotic scent of the pages and not having to have batteries just to read a book. Sorry, I prejudice.
@Heleen I only listen to audiobooks either before or after I read a book, like Charles Dickens “Sketches by Boz,” (I think that is the one) the audiobook didn’t cover what was all said in the book. I would listen to audiobooks, but I feel like I need to do something while I listen to them.
Kind something that interests you and it should take care of itself
Browse the library! I can always find something that interests me.

Do your u mean instead of e-reading like kindle? Or just the focus of a long read?

Once I got back to reading physical books before going to bed instead of ebooks i slept so much better, after that it was not really hard

Usually I’ll see a cover at the library that really catches my eye! And I just have to read it
