Many authors and their publishers do giveaways in the weeks before a book comes out, on websites and FB Author pages.

Contests and giveaways. It does take time and effort and I enter many many and don’t win but that’s ok, for me, the one time I do win is exciting. Goodreads has contests all the time. I have won a few times and not won, many more. My love of reading keeps me entering. I also do Netgalley. Am I always approved? Of course not, but that’s ok too. There are also other contests and author giveaways. Very seldom does anyone just get a book handed to them. It take time and effort.

I’ve never won any giveaways, but I’m new to all this. Luck will shine on me sometime I hope. The book mails that I get are all from Amazon, my book purchases. ??

The founding authors in this group are doing a giveaway. Start here. Goodreads has giveaways all the time. … Once I started joining groups, I started getting adds for other groups and ARC opportunities. Also NetGalley but they are all ebooks. Follow authors and publishers. Buy books.
