Oh, I don’t know this one!

It’s a sword and sorcery film from the 80s. It’s actually really bad, but I still enjoy it.

0
Adam-CalebQuestion author

@Nope As soon as you said it was bad I knew I needed to see it.

Conan or Red Sonja?

0
Nope

Oooo yes! I almost forgotten about the Conan movies. I so wish for an updated version of red Sonja.

@Adam-Caleb Conan the Barbarian

0
Peter

I’d have to go for Conan The Barbarian. You could take a still from almost anywhere in that movie and it would be an epic picture. Red Sonja?! Ah, I was in childhood awe of Brigitte Nielsen in that movie. A remake would be good!

Elijah

Solomon Kane, Excalibur, the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy, Brother Bear, Pan’s Labyrinth, the first Narnia movie, and, of course, Lord of the Rings.

@Lloyd I was like how had no one said Lady Hawk?!

1
Helen

Stardust! (Which is also my favourite film altogether)

I loved the LotR films, too.
I also enjoyed the Narnia Chronicles, which was terrific as I’ve wanted to like the books, but found them kind of preachy and childish – I liked what the films did.

There is only one fantasy film, which all others must be judged by, ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail.’ Don’t claim it’s not fantasy-it has a killer rabbit with a vicious streak a mile wide:

I thought I was the only person to see that one, great mini series

1
Sara

Me too! I used to own it, and I miss it. I loved Wolf!

2
Aikatryn

I found it on amazon or something and my 11 year old thought I was lame, but I put it on for nostalgia and she got bored with it. She doesn’t recognize quality yet. Wolf was so marginalized, poor thing.

I could never take to Mirrormask.

1
Carly

It wasn’t the best plot but I loved the puppets & creations. Burtonesque & a lil steampunk. It was more just a ‘pretty to watch’ experience for me.

0
Sena

I am with @Neil… The Princess Bride for the win!
