Have you gone to a library and asked the librarian? I’m not sure where you live but that’s what I would do.

@Angie thanks for the suggestion, but I am from Afghanistan and the libraries are not that equipped here.

There are speed reading books out there to buy/check out, if you want. But studies have shown that speed reading is bad for comprehension.

Barring that you have any attention impairments or severe depression/anxiety, active reading is a great way to improve one’s concentration. It also drastically improves comprehension. Have a conversation with the author while you’re reading. Ask questions. Try to make connections between what you’re reading another other books or life experience. Physical actions can also help, like underlining important sentences, writing down your reactions, and circling words and sentences. Being physical with a book helps keep your attention on the book.
