Yup. I had a few rough months after undergrad. But I settled down finally and got back to it. You’ll get there. No worries. ❤️

Yes, when we were going through a challenging period in my family. I just could not concentrate on anything. My favorite devotional got me through.

I go through a phase of just reading magazines or articles online but never stop reading all together. I have also gone through spells where I only wanted short books and not 500 page books!

Having a newborn makes reading really tough. Plus I was still in college. So for his first 6 months I barely read.

All the time. I only read about a dozen books until the last month of the year, when suddenly I crank out a dozen more. I’m busy and have other hobbies and I’m sick and sometimes can’t do anything at all. I frequently go months at a time without reading and rarely do it daily anymore. But, I still come out averaging about a book every two weeks because I read so much in the winter.

Yep. In 2016 I went from the beginning of June to the middle of December without finishing a single book. And I still have been reading less than I would like to, but am finally slowly beginning to pick up speed again.

Yes, sometimes it lasts a month or two.

It’s actually good to go through the “not reading phase”, just means you have other important things to do in your life – best thing about books, they’re always there when you need them.

Yeah, I hardly read anything in High School, I was in school from 8AM to 10PM (Technical Degree) and during my first few years at Uni which I was doing while working full time. I went back to reading in my mid 20s so like 5-6 years ago or so…I’ve never read as much as this year though 🙂

Only when I had surgery on my neck and couldn’t bend my neck to read. That’s when Nook and Kindle apps came in handy.

Yes. 2 years, because I will not read another book until I finish one (it’s a horrible habit) and it took me 2 years and change to get through The Museum of Extraordinary Things.

I also was pregnant and had my son in the same span of time and think that had something to do with it.

Oh, yes. This year actually. When I had to give my IGCSE’s. Although I tried my best to read, I couldn’t. As of now I’m studying for A levels, which makes it difficult too, but I think I’m doing a great job at reading ?

Yes, when I get in a slump where nothing looks good. I have at least 3 shelves of books I havent read yet. Sometimes, none of them are what I want at the moment. Thats usually when I do a reread or pick one up from one of the many series Im in the middle of from one of my favorite authors

Yes. I’ve just gone through a massive one, but I’m starting to read again. Averaging about 100 pages a day now, unlike before where i could barely get through the first 100 pages of any book without putting it down.

Yes. Graphic novels tend to pull me out of my funk. There are some great non super hero hilarious books. The gratification of reading a few usually rights my course.

I am in that faze right now. Its been a few weeks. I just haven’t been in the mood but I have been binge watching Arrow on Netflix so that is taking me away from reading. I did read for like an hour on Monday but that’s about it form the past few weeks.

My entire 2017 so far. It’s the worst, most of the books I’ve finished were ones I’d read before, I’m currently in the middle of about 5 because i can’t keep interest (not even the books fault!). I’ve finished a grand total of 9 books this year. Last one was in June. ?

Is the worse!!! I have one right now since August and it started right in the middle of a sequel of a trilogy. Just got my mojo back with this particular book about a world record family I found yesterday
