I almost never watch the movie first, but I did in this case. It was so heartbreaking that I’ll probably never read the book. I’ve read the third book in the series, though, and it was lovely.

I watched last night, for like the 6th time… still an ugly cry. Like, sobbing, snotting, hiccuping, ugly cry. Very close to the book. They omitted some minor details, but I found it very true to the source.

I’m usually not a fan of movies when I’ve read the book first. This movie was an exception. It was very well done. Loved it! Yes, I ugly cried at the movie too…both times I watched it.

Movie was an excellent adaptation. Definitely an UGLY cry. It was fun to see some of the details come to life.

And the book (turned into movie) nerd in me couldn’t help but notice that Daenerys Targaryen is dating Neville Longbottom when she meets Finnick Odair.

I didn’t cry in the movie I think because I was still bitter about the book(completely blindsided by the ending, everyone just said it was such a good book).

The book is always better, but the movie was good too. Stayed pretty true to the book. I heard they are making a movie on After You.

They could make movies on all three, as long as they KEEP THE SAME ACTORS! I’d love it to be a trilogy!!
