I really didn’t go for this book & did see the movie which I thought was a bit better…but both seemed way too contrived & sappy for me…

While I enjoyed both, and yes the book ‘gives you more, for me, the movie had a more hopeful feel about it.

Thank you. I signed up for Netflix/Hulu and wanted to watch a movie and Me before You popped up. I will wait and read the book then watch the movie

I recommend reading the book first. Then see the movie. Yes, both are wonderful. As with all book to movie situations, the book is richer in description and depth.
