Loved the book. They did do a very nice job with the movie too considering the complexities of such a big novel.

One of my favorite reads ever. I think the 1980 Edition is better, but the 1990 re-write is good to see how things changed. The additional material does not make the book any better. Just more story.

I couldn’t finish it after about 1/2 of it. It just didn’t impress me like some of his others. Some of his I absolutely HATE, like The Girl Who Loved Tom Green or whatever that one was…some I LOVED like Pet Semetery, Gerald’s Game & The Green Mile .

OMG!!! One of my FAVORITE Stephen King novels. I’ve read that book several times and then invested in the extended version when it came out. All very excellent.

I really enjoyed the TV episodes as well. I believe it was the first time I’d seen Gary Sinise act. (They’ve talked about making a movie but I honestly don’t think they could do the book justice in two hours.)

Anyway, if you haven’t had a chance to read it, it’s definitely worth the time invested.

Its such a long book you start to live there in your head. It’s a culture shock when you’ve finished and are back in the here and now. ?”Where did all these ppl come from? ?
