I enjoyed it, I thought the series was an easy read.
I had watched the movie first and loved that. The book didnt live up to the movie. Weirdly enough. I couldn’t get through the second book.
Lara Jean’s voice sounded a little off to me. I mean, that must be intended by the author, but seriously, I always had to consciously remind myself that the narrator is teenage, not a 10-year-old girl
@Vince I felt the same way. I had a difficult time getting through it.
I only read the first book and liked it but was not tempting enough to read the other books in the series. It was a funny light read.
I actually loved it. Easy read.
I’m currently reading it. I’m finding it an easy lighthearted read and I’m enjoying it but it’s not a page turner. Still unsure if too read the other books after
Loved it!!! There are quite a few differences from the movie but I think the movie was done really well ?
I thought the first book was cute and I liked the second. I think originally it wasn’t supposed to be a trilogy and tbh I personally could tell. It feels as if it was written to make readers happy with the knowledge that Lara Jean and Peter K would stay together and be ok.
It does have one of the cutest set of covers tho~
Yeaaaaah, I didn’t read the third one for the sole reason that I was like “it’s just gonna be another Lara and Peter fest” which was fine for the first and second, but I was kinda not into it that much idk…
Since I read them as they came out, I still had the mindset of reading all the books in a series even if I lost interest or they were ok reads. The third book wasn’t even worth the read. I feel like the author was grasping at straws trying to come up with a story or conflicts to make it interesting.
I’m glad I didn’t miss anything. I had gotten them as a set, lol
I liked the first and second. The movie for the first was fine, but barely any of Josh which made me salty bc there’s more of him in the book. I stopped the series after book 2 bc I felt like I didn’t need to read the rest because it was just gonna turn out like the other two x3 sorry!!
I really love it ! I hated the movie ! I feel like it spoils the second book .. I’m going to start the third one tonight !
@Lacy love the third!
I honestly hated the first book and never continued the series. I couldn’t get into the story, the characters, or Jenny Ha’s writing.
It was cute and easy to read!
I read all three and they were ok. They got a little frustrating and I found myself getting mad at the characters all the time. But quick easy reads
omg I love it, I hate gen but omg it is the best series ever, I mean I’m 19 and I love it. it’s so cutesey and adorable. and some drama, especially the second book, olm, but overall it’s great
The first one was SO SWEET, the second one was good, the third one, I couldnt read more than 30 pages.
I love them all! Definitely a favorite series. They say don’t read the last book but I loved it just as much as the first two!
(If you disagree with me don’t comment. I’m sick and not in the mood for a fight)
I read the whole series.it’s an enjoyable read.Every book is amazingng.& DID YOU SEE THE BOOK COVERS??they are a definitely a reason you should read this.If You’re not looking for intense deep romance but some high school sweet first love then It’s definitely for you.
I just finished reading the first book. I’m currently reading the second one. I think they are good, but I really don’t like Peter that much. He doesn’t treat Lara Jean right. Peter from the movie was much better.
I liked the first two and the third you can tell was written later.
cute but the main character is really frustrating and juvenile. a lot of her naivety annoyed me.
I’ve only read the first book. I liked it. At the time the second wasn’t out yet. That’s on my tbr list. See how that goes before I consider book 3.
Haven’t seen movies as i want to read the books first
i enjoyed the series.
It was an easy read for me and I loved it
I enjoyed it. It was a pretty quick and easy read with a good message.
I loved the first book!
Enjoyed the first two, last one you can go without reading but it’s an ok conclusion to the series I guess.
They did my boy John Ambrose dirty tho
I really enjoyed the first two, but the third kinda got in my nerves at times. Overall it’s a good series.
