I just recently read it. Honestly, it takes a little while to get the flow of the book because it goes back and forth from present day to flashbacks without transitions. But, it is totally worth seeing it through, and you’ll find the groove of the book. It’s really good, and it feels plausible. I didn’t expect it to take place in modern times, I thought it was more of a historical/speculative fiction
It takes a while to get into the rhythm and understand the concept. I thought it was brilliant. The TV series was even better and the sequel which is running just now follows the theme quite well, but not as good.
I liked listening to the audiobook more. The story is kind of a stream of consciousness, friend telling a story to you style that I feel translated better when listening to it more than reading it. I definitely recommend it tho
A friend who loves Margaret Atwood sent me home with her copy of THE HANDMAID’S TALE. I enjoyed it immensely and have read several of her other books since.
I enjoyed it…and it really makes you think …especially of you’re a woman
Yes. I liked it quite a bit.

I had the pleasure of studying it for A level English. Essential reading for any woman, or any man for that matter.
Nope. I struggled all the way through

I’ve never cared for this book. I found it to be somehow both alarmist and boring. However, many people enjoyed it enormously!
Yes, read it!
It is incredibly relevant.
YES!!! Emphatically, yes. ?
I recently checked it out from public library.. planning to read it ..
It’s amazing.
Excellent book, I read it this year.
Yes
I can’t say I liked it because it’s harsh but I’m glad I read it and it definitely sticks with you.
