Thank you, Bonnie. I was about to buy Palisades Park based solely on Kathy’s review and I still will, right after Irving, of course, I really like his style. Owen Meany, anyone? 🙂
I’m still lobbying for Palisades Park, Oscar. Although, after having read The Sleeping Dictionary by Sujata Massey, I have another favorite historical fiction author. Alan Brennert, Sujata Massey, Sena Jeter Naslund, Geraldine Brooks, Elizabeth Kostova, Joseph and Karen Maitland are my top historical fiction authors. Anything they write is incredible. And, then there are the historical mystery writers that include @Anna, Lyndsay Faye, Rhys Bowen, Arianna Franklin (now deceased), Stef Penney, and Laurie King. I think I got a bit carried away, but , as you all know, book addiction does that. I’m sure I left some great authors out. I didn’t even start listing straight out mystery writers.
Yes, I made a mistake in typing. Sycamore Row is by John Grisham. It is a good read and Owen Meany is one of my favorite books. I think I have recommended Henning Mankell to you before. He is Swedish and writes fantastic crime novels.
Haven’t read any Dean Koontz in years :/.
Sorry, but no.
Too bad, I’m looking for my next read and I want to pick just the right book. Hmmm, maybe some John Irving.
I highly recommend John Irving’s Sycamore Row.

Wait…isn’t Sycamore Row by John Grisham??
Yes, it is. I was just going to leave it alone. I got that Cider House Rules instead 🙂

I’m taking a screenshot of that comment for future reference. Thank you, Kathy 😉
My pleasure, Oscar.
