I loved it!!! My favorite memoir by far, more involved but similar (and better of course) to the movie.

Really did not like it- found it to be terribly self indulgent & unappealing- know many people who loved it though.

I read it and kept waiting for something to happen. She whines through the entire book. I hated this book. But as you can see many people liked it. I would suggest reading a couple chapters and if you like it keep reading and if you hate it quit and find a better book.

I didnt enjoy it as much as other people. I dont know it just was missing something. I am going to give it to my niece and see if she has a different opinion than me. But I agree read a few chapters and decide. No one knows better than you what you enjoy reading.

I loved it. You should also read the parody Drink, Play, F*ck by Andrew Gottlieb. It’s the story told from the man’s perspective.

It was the most self absorbed piece of garbage I have ever read. I did not pass it on to anyone else to read. I threw it in the garbage.

A snore. She raptures over herbal and vegetable gardening techniques that I have been practicing for decades. Duh.

I did for a book club. It was an interesting story, but I found her overall elitism and privilege to be rather off-putting. Couldn’t really relate to her because of it.

I enjoyed it. I think it depends on where you are at in your life. It’s different for everyone. ?

My biggest problem with the book was that I listened and the author read it ( almost always a mistake). Her ‘attitude’ was very off-putting.

The Italy part was interesting, but later when she tried to go to India (or wherever it was, I don’t really care) and meditate…and she got so impatient…it was annoying. She wouldn’t calm down, and just sat there making fun of it like a little kid. And I listened to it on audio with the actual author reading it… She just bugged me.

The first section was okay, and the last part was okay, but I completely skipped the middle section.

It was so irritating. I liked the part where she went to Italy but when she came to India, I got super annoyed and left the book halfway. I finished it later on but it was just not worth the effort or time.
