I have read Year One (dystopian) and Dark Witch (Fantacy/Romance). She is a fluffy writer and doesn’t always fit my mood but her books are a good light read.

Mills and Boon style, formulaic style. But they can be good reads if you choose the ones which are a bit suspenseful. I enjoyed The Calhouns stories.

She also writes as JD Robb. I’ve never read her, but I know she was a popular author when I worked in a library!

My mum (83 years old) loves Nora Roberts and has passed a good few of her books on to me. I was shocked at how graphic her sex scenes are!! I also began to feel one book was pretty similar to another. But give it a go, you might thoroughly enjoy it.

I am a huge fan of her books. She is an extremely good writer. I do not think you will be disappointed! She writes romance novels and also mystery. She also writes under the name JD Robb which are also mysteries but set in the future.

Chesapeake Bay Series is my favorite. Probably a little dated now but I would suggest start with that. You’ll know if you like her writing after that book.

She is a naturel story teller that can write any genre she’s that good. She is also known as JD Robb where she has a long running crime series. She is really addictive

I’ve only read Year One and disliked it immensely. I found it to be dialogue heavy and that dialogue was amateurish. I rolled my eyes through 2/3 the book and just couldn’t bring myself to finish. Others loved it though… it just wasn’t my cup of tea

One of my favorite Authors. The Chesapeake Bay Series is my favorite, but love them all. There is a story for each of her characters from each book.
That is one of the reasons I love her. She never forgets her other characters in her books. You will always find their stories in another book. And they are mentioned enough you want to know their stories too.

Her earlier books are the best. She is a formula writer so after a while characters sound a bit stale and repetitive.

I like to read her during holidays or when I want something not too intense. I really like her books. Some of the older titles are better than the newer ones. Usually a bit of mystery and romance.

@Theresa definitely lighter reading. Cleans my brain after intense books.

I was obsessed with those books! I listened to them on Audible and fell in love with the voice of Roark ?

The Bride Quartet was so much fun to read. I wait for her series to be complete and then I read them all at once. I loved the Three Sisters Island Trilogy, the Circle Trilogy and the Key Trilogy. I got to meet her at a Romance Writers Convention in Dallas. She is a smart and talented woman. I cannot get into her writings as JD Robb, but I am definitely a Nora Roberts fan.

Nora Roberts is a prolific and popular writer of a few different genres. You read her for fun and entertainment value mostly. I think of her as a very talented woman who can write in whatever genre or style she chooses.
