I’ve read most of it but haven’t finished it yet, but I really enjoy it. My sister has read all of it and she loved it.

Oh, yes! My first foray into sci-fi reading as a kid. It was one of the books I would reread every year.

Huh I didn’t think of that. I just watched it just now. It was very different.

I love the book so much I was afraid to see the movie

1
Tracey

@Sally I have not read the book, so I am not sure if the movie is different.

I haven’t seen the movie yet but when it comes to books Wrinkle in Time was first published in 1960 and Never Ending Story in 1979 so it might actually be the other way round with taking inspiration

Both of those were written after. Wrinkle in time. My mother gave me an old battered copy as a child, and I’m in my 30s now.

The movie was pretty horrid though… I will give you that. 😉

There is a series?

A Wrinkle in Time, A Wind in the Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, Many Waters, An Acceptable Time
You can read A Wrinkle in Time as a lone book if you prefer. Some people focus on the first three and ignore the last two but I think they’re missing out.

Lia

I didn’t realize there were more after the first three!

Tammy

Yup! I was gifted a box set many years ago and that’s how I found out!
