God guys Priory of the Orange Tree is MASSIVE. How could anyone read this without interrupting all other reading tasks?

It is huge! It took me several days to finish but I loved it!!!
I just have so much else to read in April ??????
It took me four days and it was extremely worth it.
I’m on ch 4 after starting at like 9 and enjoying it but stilllllllllllllllllll
Just accept it and read!
I have the hardcover coming but I’m tempted to also get the ebook for actual reading purposes
ITS SO HEAVY
@Jennifer same!
I was hoping the library would buy the audiobook but its it’s not even on the request list
Kindle is estimating 17 hours left in book ???
I always take a book with me on transit but I can’t even fathom lugging that around in my purse all day so it’ll just be a stay-at-home book ?
It’s so good that I wasn’t thinking about how many pages it was when I was reading it. And by the end I wished there were more.
@Melissa this is exactly how I felt…800 pages in and I was very upset that it went so quickly
this is a great book for a buddy read where you read a certain amount of chapters a day and then discuss. That way it doesn’t feel like you are reading 800 pages lol
@Jesse yes that’s what we’re doing at the end of April! I’ll be rereading!
@Jordan I’ll be reading this one as well. I’ll just break up the chapters per day
The problem is, I lead my own book club and have so much else to read, I cant fit enough chapters of a book this size in 10 days while working. Also since it’s such a new book I have to return it to the library on the 20th and cant renew it
@Julie I am going to break it up into 15 days and read around 50-55 pages a day give or take a few pages depending on where the chapter ends. That should bring me pretty close to the start of the discussion.
I’m going to see if I can find the audio version of this soon so I can listen to it while working then at home read the hard cover book
It’s worth every single pound that it weighs ?

I was going to get the ebook from the library, but I might have to buy it so I have enough time to read the whole thing ?
I just started the book and actually took it on the train today. It’s a hassle to hold while standing, so idk how I’m going to do this lol
I know right? I sadly dont live where there is good public transit and have to drive 30 minutes to work but I cant lug that thing around all over
@Julie it’s not easy but I’m trying. I see people looking at me like I’m. It’s when I whip the book out. ?my face trying to hold it comfortably
