@Melissa not quite yet. Right now it’s just “and she kept biding her time. One day she knew she would take her place and rightfully so..” and blah blah blah that’s what I’m struggling with. I’ll try to plug through! Thanks!
Have you read any of Mark Edward’s books? He’s one who flies a little under the radar who I enjoy. My favorites of his are “The Magpies” & “Follow You Home”.

Ellison, The Dry by Jane Harper, and The Widow by Fiona Barton. I also like the authors Karin Slaughter, Lisa Unger, and Dennis Lehane.

@Kacie I loved it too!
@Jenny At some point, the perspective changes. Have you gotten to that point yet? If not, keep going. I liked it much better after that.

Read that! so good.
It’s getting a lot of flak around here recently due to some controversies with the author, but I liked The Woman in the Window.
The Silent Patient is the best I’ve read so far this year.
I’ve read both of those!
@Anne Am I the only person who didn’t like the woman in the window? I struggled so much to finish that book, it was so dragging ?
The Silent Patient.
Yes, that was soooo good
It’s one of the few mystery/suspense novels that I didn’t see the plot twist coming a mile away.
No Exit by Taylor Adams was also excellent.
Adam by Ted Dekker, or honestly anything by him, he writes really good psychological thrillers
