@Kacie I had the hardest time finishing this book bc I felt it was so repetitive. Does it get better? I’m halfway thru.

Kacie

Oh I don’t know, for me it had me hooked from the beginning. I read it in 3 days!

1
Krystal

@Kacie I loved it too!

2
Melissa

@Jenny At some point, the perspective changes. Have you gotten to that point yet? If not, keep going. I liked it much better after that.

2
Jenny

@Melissa not quite yet. Right now it’s just “and she kept biding her time. One day she knew she would take her place and rightfully so..” and blah blah blah that’s what I’m struggling with. I’ll try to plug through! Thanks!

@Jenny I almost quit on it, too, but I’m glad I didn’t!

It’s getting a lot of flak around here recently due to some controversies with the author, but I liked The Woman in the Window.

The Silent Patient is the best I’ve read so far this year.

It’s one of the few mystery/suspense novels that I didn’t see the plot twist coming a mile away.

No Exit by Taylor Adams was also excellent.

Have you read any of Mark Edward’s books? He’s one who flies a little under the radar who I enjoy. My favorites of his are “The Magpies” & “Follow You Home”.
