I only got in about 30-40 during spring semester. But I hit my 6 month goal of 55 by July. I had so much reading to do for my actual classes. (And with next semester, 1 textbook us 680 pages)
When I was in college I only got to about 4 books a month for pleasure. Pretty much one book a week was all I could fit in because I was so busy or studying
I’ve switched to audiobooks during the school year and so I get through maybe 1 a week. If I’m reading though i can usually finish 2 in a week but I usually ignore schoolwork that way. Audiobooks are a great option for me because I can listen while doing my laundry, riding my horse, or while at work. That way I don’t ignore my homework for a book. The only reason it takes longer for a audiobook is because the narrators read slower than me and I usually won’t listen to a book in public but I will read in public
It depends on the semester. I got a lot done this past spring semester, like 35 books or so, but during this past summer semester I think I only read 1 book?
Depends on the semester really. I am not a college student (we don’t have that), but a University student and I study law, which is a lot of raw material, codes, etc. (Pretty boring stuff ???) During my finals there was so much to read that I only managed 3 or 4 books in 3 months and 2 audiobooks. At the end of the day I just didn’t want to look at words anymore. ??????
It’s hard. I try to read maybe 30 minutes a day. Usually I have a lot of texts and articles to read for classes and it’s so hard to find time to pleasure read. I love the summer months when I can just read to my hearts content lol
Not many ?
Hahaha!!! I wish!
It’s hard I wish I could do more, 15 books ?
When I was in school all my reading was done on my two week breaks from classes between the semesters

When I was a student, likely 20 a month (once I became a college professor that number inevitably went up).

None!

I’m wondering the same… trying to juggle work school and my reading obsession

I always speed the book up. Listen at 1.4 or however high I can before I can’t understand it.
@Emily maybe I should try that. I always thought it would warp the voice to much
Usually none. I’m going to try really hard this quarter to get in at least 80 pages before bed.

I do a lot of audiobooks. I have a 20 min commute I listen to them during that.
Too many. That we want to kill ourselves for making us read the most uninteresting books in the English literature.
Approximately 8-12, not counting articles and secondary sources, but I’m a Literature major
When I was in college eons ago I still read to fall asleep. So 10-30 minutes. So I might make it through one book during a semester.
None

I study literature so privately hardly any, sadly…
I aim for one per week. This will be a challenging semester. I might not hit my goal. It’s okay, though. Grades are important.
1 or 2 if I’m lucky
way too many! LOL
I had no time to read in college ? the year I graduated I read 20+ books over the summer lol

None. I usually have 3-4 20-30 pages articles to read for every class
1 xD or 2 if Im lucky
3 novels and more than 15 books and articles
None.
None
Lol. One. Maybe. School is crazy
1100 pages of hard science a week for 5 undergrad years = about 7 books a week.
I only have 29h per week of lectures tutorials and lab experiments so I still have time to read PLENTY !
6(+/-) required reading (this semester). 0 for pleasure.
When I was going to school…4a week..mostly romance, mysteries
For class: 8 or 9, yay English major! For fun: 0, unless I’m allowed to count some of the books I have to read for class ?
