It’s been many, many years since I’ve read a YA book. I didn’t read them much when I was a YA! ? I’m not sure if this qualifies, but I loved “Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret.”

Do u think it would be appropriate to teach the book in schools? When I was in high school we read it for a book club.

1
Jenny

@Graham Probably not. I read it back in the early ’90’s and it caused a lot of controversy due to the themes of sexuality and drug abuse But I would still recommend it to most young adults.
