I usually keep the book. But if I didn’t like it, and know I’ll never read it again, I delete it.

How do you add them to read folder on kindle!
Thank you!

2
Kasey

@Irida You long press in the book. A box will pop up and you touch “add to collection” . Go to make new collection. Make a collection that says read.

1
Kasey

Then, you can just add them each time.

1
Christina

@Kasey thank you.

You don’t have to delete them. Just remove them from your device so you can read them again when you want to.

Annette

How do you do that? I removed one thinking I could get it back but nope it is gone

0
Claire

@Annette you choose “Remove from device” or something like that. Then you’re asked if you want to remove from this device or all your devices including the Cloud. You choose “from this device only”.

0
Claire

@Annette Then, if you want to download it again, you click on “All” instead of “Downloaded” and you look for it. You can also click on the search icon and type in the title.

0
Annette

@Claire thank you. I clicked remove from device then went to Amazon and looked in the cloud and my book did not come up. I have so many books on my IPad I am afraid I will run out of room!

0
Annette

@Claire ok it worked! Thank you

0
Claire

@Annette how did you look in the cloud? From the website? Or from your device? On your iPad or Kindle, even on your computer, you should have two lists for your books: “on your device” and “in the cloud”. You can click on the search icon and type the title of your book.

Once I put a book into a “collection” it no longer appears on my main screen…..

On my kindle (old version) I have separate folders/collections and put books into them the only thing that shows on main page is the folders and number of books in each

No…….I made a “collection” for books I’ve read…..
I can refer to this list to recommend books to my friends and it also keeps track of how many books I’ve read……
