I love my kindle, it saves the battery life of my phone, it’s easier on the eyes, and it’s slightly lighter and I don’t get as distracted by other apps
I always read on the kindle app on my ipad but recently bought and paperwhite. Best investment ever. Lightweight, can read outside and bigger than my phone.
I much prefer the Kindle. But I don’t have a huge phone so the Kindle feels more like a real book to me.
You can pry my paperwhite out of my cold, dead hands.
I use a Kindle Paperwhite. For reading, I VASTLY prefer it to my phone. I’ll only read on my phone out of pure desperation now.
I have both but prefer using the kindle app on my phone just because I take my phone eveywhere with me and I forget my kindle. Plus the battery on my kindle doesn’t hold a charge very long.
I love my Kindle. 🙂
Way better than reading on your phone! The screen is less tiring on the eyes and larger so less straining

Use my phone when I can’t carry my kindle, but love using my kindle.
Way, way better than reading on the phone. My eyes get less tired and if you are easily distracted, there is not much to do on a Kindle except to read.

I use the Kindle app on my phone when I’m out but I love my Kindle fire at home.
I can’t use the kindle app on a phone or tablet for more than a few minutes, or I get a headache (or migraine if i push it). It’s good in a pinch (i was stuck in a waiting room unexpectedly and didn’t bring a book so i booted up the app), but i much prefer a kindle. It saves my phones battery, easier on my eyes, and feels more like a real book to me.
I do have to say though I love taking screenshots of passages in the app, it makes for easy sharing on my blog.

My kindle is life!!! The screen so 100% easier on my eyes. I can actually for long periods without getting a headache
I love the kindle white, it’s like reading a book but much more mobile. Not much of a fan of the fire though.

Yes! I love my kindle paper white. I would definitely use my kindle over my phone. I hate reading with the blue light my phone emits. The kindle paper white has a backlight, but not blue light which is ideal for reading at night.

Kindle. I love the convenience of my phone for if I don’t want to bring my Kindle but if both are available I’ll read on my kindle.

I have one and I prefer it. I only use my phone for calls, texts, and the occasional game. If i want to read, I will use my Kindle…that’s what it’s there for.
I most definitely prefer it over my phone. That said i only use my phone in rare occasions (for reading)

I adore my Kindle Fire HDX, 8.9 inch. They don’t make these any more, so I’m really hoping the one I have lasts a long time!
@Tara I love mine too but I think it’s on it way out ☹️ I’m dreading the moment it does because as you said they don’t make them any more.
@Jaci Check Ebay. They do have some listed, just make sure they are the 4th generation, and doesn’t have scratches on the screen or bad pixels on the screen.

I love my kindle. I was super sceptical when I first invested in it but it’s my absolute best device which lets me read all my fave books without have Ning to carry that weight of books around with me all day! ♥️
Yes! My Kindle Fire is much better for the things I actually do with a mobile device- browsing and chatting on FB, reading of course, playing games- than my phone is, since I hardly ever make actual phone calls. Since I got my Kindle, the only things I even need a phone for are emergencies, messaging when I don’t have WiFi access (rarely), and listening to music (the YouTube app on my phone is a bit better than the Kindle one ?)
I love my kindle, but I cant read on the kindle app. Just the e-Ink screens.
Mmmm… I have a Kindle, a Kobo and an ipad…I prefer my Kobo. I have never used my phone for reading.
I love how much easier it is to read in public with a kindle. It’s also very easy on my eyes and I love that too.
