Never. Always have a current book going. Speed of reading it may just depend on how busy the week goes. I change a book every week. If I haven’t finished it, I’ll go back to it in a couple of weeks

I didn’t exactly have a dry spell but I had a spell when it seemed I was interrupted every five minutes and for a few days I was almost too frustrated to get back into the book 🙂 when I read I want to be taken away to another place, another time, and you can’t do that in 5 minute bites lol

When I am writing like I have been this year, I know people say you should read to become a better writer and I wholeheartedly agree with that, but don’t have enough time to do both sufficiently. I go to France in January for a holiday though so will use this chance to tackle my ever growing TBR!

i tend to go through stages…I won’t read at all for a couple of months (except whatever I have to read for school) and then I’ll binge read and read like 10 books in 2 weeks or something crazy

Yeah, all the time. Most people, even those that love reading, don’t do it constantly. Most people don’t do anything constantly, life gets in the way and interests shift.

The last three summers I’ve had trouble reading. This summer I discovered that it’s much easier for me to read graphic novels, thrillers, and light and fluffy books that I wouldn’t normally pick up. That really helped me get through the summer slump.

Post op ( major op), but when I was up to reading again, started with easy books I’d read before. That’s a good way to get out of a slump for me.
